MEET THE PROVIDER

Summer Abukhodeir, the founder and owner of Everchanging Wellness, is a 2nd generation Palestinian-American born and raised in Lake Wales, FL. Summer attended nursing school at the University of South Florida (USF), receiving her BSN in 2014. Soon after graduation, Summer accepted an ER/Trauma nursing position at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Summer has been a nurse for roughly 9 years.

 

In 2014, Summer attended the USF Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program and graduated top of her class with Summa Cum Laude in 2016. Shortly after graduation, Summer accepted a GI Nurse Practitioner position for a prestigious gastroenterology practice in Brandon FL. In 2017, Summer was accepted into Maryville University and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2018, graduating Summa Cum Laude of her class.

 

After obtaining her 2nd Master’s, Summer accepted a position in primary care. She also worked as a clinical instructor and lab instructor for the USF College of Nursing and Florida Southern College. Summer has also worked Tele-Health Urgent Care for the past three years and is now licensed in multiple states, including FL.

 

She has always had a passion for emergency medicine, however, developed a love for every field she has had the pleasure of working in. Summer’s goal is to provide her patients with quality health care that is not only affordable but also available to the patient when they need it! She knows how difficult it is to get seen by a healthcare provider nowadays and she wants patients to have continuous access to healthcare, no matter the circumstance.
